Passover is a time when family and friends come together to celebrate our redemption from Egypt and becoming the Jewish nation.

We are excited to invite you to our beautiful seders, the first seder on the first night of Passover, Monday April 22nd, and the second seder on Tuesday April 23rd.

Enjoy a meaningful and interactive Seder in a warm and inviting atmosphere with gourmet Passover cuisine. Of course with 4 cups of wine, Matzah and a full brisket dinner.

Weather permitting the Passover seder celebration will be taking place at the spacious new Chabad garden, in a candlelit beautiful atmosphere. If the weather doesn't hold up it will be indoors at the Chabad Jewish Center.

We are limited on space so please RSVP below earlier than later.

Looking forward to celebrating with you this special holiday!

Sell your Chametz

On the holiday of Passover, we are commanded not to have any chametz in our possession. Any food that is made out of grain that has been allowed to rise (ferment) is chametz. Common chametz items include bread, cakes, breakfast cereals, pastas, many liquors and more. Any chametz that was in the possession of a Jew during Passover is forbidden, even after Passover ends. This applies even if the chametz is locked up and out of sight.

So what is someone to do if they want to hold on to their prized Scotch collection or freezer full of challah?

The solution explained in the Code of Jewish Law is the “Sale of Chametz,” in which the food is sold to a non-Jew before Passover. After the holiday, the non-Jew sells it back, and it can once again be enjoyed.

Completion of Passover: The Moshiach Meal

Join us for a special meal at the last hours of the Passover holiday, focused on the imminent redemption of Moshiach.

The Moshiach meal is a custom introduced by the Ba’al Shem Tov, the founder of Chassidism, and customarily is enjoyed with 4 cups of wine, Matzah and delicious Passover cuisine, brisket included.

It will be on Tuesday, April 30th at 6 PM @ The Chabad Jewish Center.
